Dr. Karen French, D.C. – A Woman of Passion and Vision
It took a lot of self-confidence, courage and passion for Dr. French to open French Medical Group and Med Spa, but she was determined to create
a beautiful healing center that she envisioned while going to Chiropractic School. And that is exactly what she did. French Medical Group and Med Spa offers the most advanced laser aesthetic services available as well as Chiropractic, Physical Therapy and Preventative Medicine to enhance life.
Dr. French graduated from DePaul University in just three years with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in 1997, as well as developing and patenting 3 polymers, and receiving honorable mention from the American Chemical Society. Dr. French went on to the National University of Health Sciences, graduating in April 2002 with a double Bachelors in Science and her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Following school Dr. French was a partner in three offices where they did multi-disciplinary work,vincluding chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, orthopedic medicine, sports medicine, family medicine and podiatry. Dr. French has been married for seven years to Edward Patrick French, the president and CEO of Metro Staff, Inc. and Your Staff Inc. They are proud parents of Mirabella Rose who is 6 years old and Daniel Kennedy who is 3 ˝ years old and raise their family and Standard Chocolate Poodle “Godiva” in Saint Charles, Illinois.
Wanting to deal more closely with the full body, mind and spirit in a more holistic approach, she opened her own Med-Spa in Elgin four years ago and serves Chicago and the northwest suburbs. The office is tranquil and relaxing with soft energetic hues of plum, pale teal, dove grey and
cream. Each room has a plasma TV so you can not only see the clear difference of your before and after picture, but you can watch all your
favorite shows or opt to take in the full spa experience and relax with a lavender eye sachet as you enjoy your pain-free laser treatment. French Medical Group and Med Spa has top-notch equipment from the lasers down to the beds. Dr. French & her all female staff strive to make each patient feel comfortable and at home as soon as they walk in the door.
She is extremely caring and is recognized by many as having the biggest heart in the world. She works with many autistic and ADHD children
who know they should be ready for a hug when they walk into her office. Before they attend each occupational therapy session, Dr. French does
chiropractic treatments on them to calm them and make them feel focused, helping them maintain concentration throughout their therapy sessions. "Instead of 20 minutes with the patient, [occupational therapists] can get 45 to 60 minutes," she says. No matter who you are or whether you're 2 or 80 years old, she treats all her patients with the utmost respect.
If you're not happy, she's not happy. "I'm as passionate about my patient’s results as they are," she says.&nbps; "I want them to look in the mirror and see great results."
